The HR Department strives to provide interested candidates with easy access to information on how to obtain employment in our town government. Job vacancies for entrance level positions are filled either by Civil Service examinations, advertisements, or screening applications on file with the HR Department. Civil Service Examinations Vacancies for competitive class positions are filled though civil service examinations. For more information regarding this process, you should contact the Dutchess County Personnel DepartmentPositions in the labor, non-competitive and exempt class do not require an examination.
