The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will host an open house to present proposed improvements to the intersection of Route 376 (Raymond Avenue) and Hooker Avenue (Route 983T). The preferred alternative is to construct a modern roundabout to replace the existing signalized intersection. In addition, this alternative will construct new buffered sidewalks and crosswalks with pedestrian refuge islands. This event will highlight the conceptual plan and components of this project, as well as the project schedule.
